Halle Berry has made it official. There will be no third time for her. The Monster’s Ball star who is currently in a relationship with model Gabriel Aubry insists that she will, ‘never, never get married again.’

The sparks were not instant between the 40 year old Halle and Aubry, 9 years her junior, whom she met on the sets of a Versace advertisement shoot. She was drawn to him over a course of time by his, ’sweet and caring and different’ personality. He was also a shy guy who hardly talked and Halle revelled in the fact that she had to chase him. It also happened at a time when her relationship with actor Michael Ealy had come to an end and she was contemplating singledom. She had to work at it a bit but eventually Cupid did strike and they have been together since November 2005. However, she has come to the conclusion that she wants to be in a relationship not dictated by society but on her own understanding, according to an interview published in InStyle magazine. Says she:

I’ve come to a place now where I think two people can share their lives without the ring, without the piece of paper.

Halle was previously wed to US baseball player David Justice and singer Eric Benet. Well, three times lucky is definitely not what Halle believes in.
